Efteling

I live in New Zealand but recently I went on a family visit to Holland and of course we went to the Efteling. This is a huge theme park in Kaatsheuvel somewhere in the middle of Holland. I went here for the first time when I was small The fairy tale forest was and still is one of my favourites. But also Dream flight, the laaf people and and just look here to get to know all the attractions. When we went home "Everyone burst out singing and I was filled with such delight"
The rowing lake just behind the entrance. There is something for everybody.
We entered the newest atrraction The flying Dutchman Through this building a longboat goes up 22.5 mtr high and than goes downward 70km per hour and lands with a little splash in the water
The ghost ship was popular. Standing in line wasn't bad because the atmosphere inside was terrific, walking through a dark middle aged street.
From here you can see the whole park
We were eating with Holle Bolle Gijs. This hollow man, with the hat on, is all over the Efteling. He says "paper here" and when you throw a piece in his mouth he says nicely Thank you.
One of my favourites; The building of Fata Morgana were you go with a boat through 1001 nights
The best Oriental experience
The troll King is telling you a story in Fairy tale forest. Of course Hansel and Gretel, the wolf and the seven goats and many others were there.

    Great photos and interesting description..

PS .. I'm a Kiwi, currently living in the US. It's quite exciting when I see 'New Zealand' after the name on the entry :-)

  21. This is nice. Nice picture. But i like most Netherlands Efteling park. Netherlands is very beautiful place. Many famous places in netherlands like Flying Dutchman, Arabic theme park, Netherlands, initiated as a walking park, sports park cum play area, tennis courts, swimming areas. Efteling Theatre is one of five big theaters in Netherlands.
