Hamilton gardens

On our North Island trip we didn't spend a lot of time in Hamilton but what we saw was gorgeous : The Hamilton gardens

  1. This is a fascinating potpourri of gardens, Marja, that seem to span the globe for creative inclusions. I love the circle formed by reflections and shadows. And the sunflower reminds me of a Van Gogh painting. . What delightful sights you managed to capture in a short visit!

  5. Ooooooooooo LOVE this! We have a similar place here called the Cultural Gardens in Cleveland. But I don't think our structures are as ornate in our gardens. BEAUTIFUL!

  7. Great place, great images! I think my favourite would have to be the Italian, closely followed by the Maori.

  10. Lovely sunflower - and that is my kind of seat. I think I will have to make one for my garden, with built-in space to rest a teapot, milk and mug! Perfection! I would only come in when it rained – or perhaps build in to it a pull-out rain cover!? ;o)

  15. Oh wow, Marja. What an outstanding garden. Loved the bench and what a surprise to see Marilyn Monroe brilliantly smiling in the American garden.

  16. Lovely. Especially like the bridge's full circle. I'm missing the Dutch garden in this international garden collection ;-)
