Quote of the week

My son loves philosophy. I think it is great that they teach that at school. Philosophy is a search for wisdom by means of critical and comprehensive thinking. Wouldn't that be good for all of us. My sons favourite philosopher is Bertrand Russell and I liked this quote.

  1. Good one Marja. My kids dont appreciate philosophy so much yet....though I love them as it gives meaning to life. This is a simple yet a good read. Hugs..MK

  2. It is definitely an interesting course to take. I find the education system failing in so many ways.

  3. I love this quote, too, Marja! Perhaps we don’t even recognize happiness at times and it can be illusive and a byproduct of living a helpful and positive life. :)

  4. Great quote, sort of reminds me of the one about happiness being a journey and not a destination.

  5. Very fortunate that he can study in in high school. That doesn't happen here much in California though it DID when I was in school way back when. Good quote.
