Manderley Home and Garden Festival

The sun was shining again yesterday, so we went out and about and off to the Manderley Home and Garden Festival close to Little River. There were about 140 stalls and William was happy that we didn't bring too much money because the arts and crafts were beautiful and I could keep on spending here. I did manage to buy a few things for Christmas though. People were also entertained by some salsa dancers and there was plenty of food and coffee which you could consume on a haystack.  Next year I will certainly come back here.

Manderley Homestead built in 1876, 3 of its rooms were filled with clothes, jewellery and paintings

The little NZ mermaids

Cock a doodle doo, a rooster for you
Like our hats and the yellow lipstick? Who bumped our noses?

Lots of goodies

Dressed for the occasion in pink and purple, even the hair: Ladies you look gorgeous

Yep we have beautiful tulips in New Zealand too

These children are more interested in the river. Isn't New Zealand a great place to grow up.

  1. Hi Marja. I love the funny little dolls of various sizes spread across the tables. The day looks gorgeous and the stream enticing. I got a big kick out the hat heads and their smudged noses. :-)
