Slowly we are moving towards spring. Only 2 weeks to go. Every season has its own charm and the highlight of this winter was a day trip to the stunning snow capped mountains which is only a 40 minute drive.. Isn't New Zealand beautiful. I feel so blessed to live here.
I believe beauty is everywhere. Even the desert has a beauty of its own. What I envy is a peaceful region with no conflicts and wars. I think Australia and New Zeeland are like that. When one looks on the map , the two seem at the end of the world, isolated by that awful Indian Ocean. Nevertheless, compared to other places on the globe, they are a blessed Paradise.

Amazing photos
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to cooler weather taking hold here in South Carolina. But that won't happen until the last of September. As always, the pictures are awesome!
ReplyDeleteYup, it's a gorgeous country. Totally envious.
ReplyDeleteHi Marja - I'd rather you didn't tell me that - it means we're on the way to our chilly season!! Fantastic views ... lovely - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIt must be fantastic to have the mountains so close. Thank you for sharing your trip Marja, through those stunning photos.
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed indeed Marja! Such a lovely place....these pictures are glorious!
ReplyDeleteNew Zealand has everything of beauty and is a wonder to behold. As your winter is winding down our summer is coming to a slow close. Opposites in weather as the world turns.
ReplyDeleteThose mountains are gorgeous! We are heading towards autumn over here. I treated myself to a new raincoat last week, which came in handy a couple of times already!
