Namasté(na-ma-stay) is a common spoken greeting , commonly used in India and Nepal . I knew the greeting but I stumbled upon this meaning today actually by looking for something completely different. Very beautiful words
actually namaste is a sanksrit word formed from two words "Namah" "tvam".. which means I bow to you..but the idea "you" or "me" which in turn leads to definition of "aham" is very interesting..try to lookup aham online
NAMASTE to you Marja, beautiful wordings for the soul :D
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely, Marja. A very appropriate thought too, for today's world.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, how do you pronounce your name?
Namaste, Marja!
Namaste is truly a beautiful and spiritual greeting which encompasses so very much.
