If you can imagen it the path is already beneath your feet

The Koru is a spiral shaped Māori symbol which means new creations or new beginnings. It is based on the unfurling fern.
The place beyond the ordinary
I dwell in a magic forest
where the spirit of love
rests on the bluebells,
cradled by clover
holding a lotus flower
that blooms untouched
by its surroundings.
This is the land
where dreams rise
beyond the ordinary,
where the extra is born
from the fertile soil
of imagination,
painted across the sky
of existence.
Here, the koru
of new creations
lifts its green fern head
into morning light.
I wake to butterflies
dancing at dusk,
to the silver chime
of the bellbird
in the drifting mist.
Sunrays tiptoe
across my heart.
In their golden glow
a place appears
where mysteries
become known.

Just beautiful! This place that you created makes me feel warm and wonderful. Lovely writing!
ReplyDelete...thanks Marja, for the information about the Koru. We are the the new beginning that spring brings.

A beautiful mystical place that would welcome you (and maybe a friend or two)!
This is so beautiful, with too many favourite lines to quote. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWe all need this dream forest right now!
ReplyDeleteThe imagery is terrific, Marja. My whole life has been surrounded by nature and I am quite sure I have experienced more than a few such places.
ReplyDeleteI like your magic place, we all should have one like yours.
ReplyDeletePrachtig, ontroerend mooi. In de natuur is elke dag anders. Ze geeft me rust en ik blijf me verbazen hoe alles na een koude, donkere winter weer uit de grond komt.
ReplyDelete'This is the land
where dreams rise
beyond the ordinary,'
Dat we altijd mogen blijven dromen...
Lieve groet.
What lovely imagery in this enchanting poem. The last stanza is a delight!
