Quote of the week

Photo made between Oamaru and omarama, South Island NZ

“To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common - this is my symphony. William Henry Channing's Symphony

Check out these links. One of my childrens poems is published on The beret project and on the following site you can print out for free a range of poetry reviewed by Gwilym Williams for the poetrytwentyten project Thanks for the honour Daan and Gwilym

  2. A symphony spoken long ago by our wise ancestors..gradually disappearing beneath the current fast pace of life. If each of us can follow this, a heaven we can see daily.
