Akaroa

We drove to Akaroa yesterday which is just a 65 km drive. Akaroa is an historic French and British settlement nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano.
On top of the hil we drank coffee and had a thousand dollar view

  1. A lovely poem in the last post Marja.
I love Akaroa, & it is nice to see it getting a facelift. The first time I ever saw snow, was on a trip over to Akaroa.

  4. I want to visit! It looks like a place I would fall in love with.

The weather here is so nasty wet and cold....to see summer is a boost of sun's energy.
