This richly imaginative poem beautifully conveys the transformative power of poetry, though its ornate language sometimes risks overwhelming the emotional core.
I love how you've captured the beauty, power and magic of poetry and what it is. So beautiful, Marja. I also appreciate the line 'Poetry is the strength of a mother'. Mother image is so tender and strong at the same time. Lovely.
"the scent of sacred beauty" I love so many of your images that it was hard to pick just one. Here, the scent of the sacred is stunning. I love that you include Middle Earth. And your lines on the mother are powerful!
How beautiful this poem is. I love the reference to Middle Earth. And especially the stanza about poetry being a portal that opens to the twilight and sacred beauty. This poem does all of that and more. Wonderful writing.
Love this poem, Marja, especially, "Poetry is the wine in the cup of life The potion that opens the portals to the twilight, where the scent of sacred beauty lingers above ethereal ponds blooming with lotus-laced lines
Dear Marja, your poem wonderfully reflects your powerful love of poetry. And the image you chose as the background underscores your words so beautifully! All the best, Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2025/05/gunthers-kakaozeremonie-und-ein-paar.html
